Charity Waste

Have you registered as a waste carrier? It’s worth noting that while the last requirement is legal, it’s usually free of charge for charities that only transport their own waste.

The initiative allows eligible charities to tip up to five tonnes of non-hazardous waste or recycling each year, free of charge. The Reuse and Recycling Centres (RRCs) that are part of the scheme are Summers Lane in Barnet, Hornsey Street in Islington, and South Access in Walthamstow.

To reuse, recycle and create energy from waste for our communities.
